This recognition reflects the strong commitment of our staff to improving student learning through the consistent implementation of Runcorn Reading Routines and a range of targeted intervention programs. Reading is a foundational skill that underpins success across every subject area, and our focus is on ensuring all students have the skills, confidence and support they need to fully access learning and achieve their goals.
Our approach to reading is deliberate and school-wide, ensuring consistency, shared language and high expectations for every learner. Through explicit teaching, targeted support and a collective commitment to improvement, we continue to build strong reading foundations that support student achievement now and into the future.
