All Year 7 and 8 students will attend this year’s swimming carnival to be held at the Runcorn Pool. While attendance for Year 7 and 8 students is compuulsory, it is compulsory for them to swim.
For all other students, it is a competitors only swimming carnival. All Year 9 to 12 students must nominate to be able attend. Nomination will need to be completed using the online nomination form that has been email to the students’ school email address.
Program for the day:
08:45am Students will meet in the sports centre for roll marking
09:00am Students walk to the pool & change into swimming attire/house colours
09:30am Events commence
12:30pm Lunch break
01:00pm House Activities / Inflatable Obstacle Course
02:30pm Students return to school, meet in the sport centre
02:50pm Student dismissed
A small canteen is available at the pool however; we encourage students to bring their own lunch for the day. Students must adhere to sun safety guidelines while travelling to and from the venue and while at the venue, including the use of sunscreen and appropriate attire such as sleeved shirts, Runcorn hat and water bottle.

8th February 2021.
Under Education Queensland guidelines if your son/daughter suffers from a medical condition that may place them at risk in the water their teacher must be informed (Epilepsy, severe Asthma etc.).
