Primary school touch gala day

​On Friday August 24th Runcorn State High School hosted the Primary School Touch Gala Day. This is the first of 3 days where our current Touch Sports Academy students manage the day. This includes setting up the fields, refereeing, touch judging, time keeping and keeping score. With over 400 primary school students to manage, or Touch Academy students did a fantastic job and were great role models in representing our school. Special thanks to the field managers: Saif Othman, Connor Sutton and Aaron Werder. From Primary School Gala Day 1, the following students were recognised for their outstanding performances: DJ Dean, Nelson Harkness and Alisi Fe’ao.
