Runcorn Rocket's Skills Development Holiday Camps

Thank you to our affiliate basketball club Runcorn Rockets that worked extremely hard over the holidays offering skills development camps on the recently upgraded outdoor courts at Runcorn SHS. It was fantastic to see so many of our Runcorn SHS junior basketball students attending and working on their skills during the holidays. Thank you to Runcorn Rockets for offering this opportunity to our basketball excellence students.
Preparations for Champion Schools Basketball Tournaments begins
The Runcorn State High School Basketball Excellence Program has begun training for the annual CBSQ basketball tournaments held in September and October this year.
CBSQ is the biggest school basketball competition in Queensland with 90-100 schools competing in the four-day tournament. This year Basketball Queensland has introduced a Junior division for years 9/10 and a Sophomore Division for years 7/8. We are pleased to announce that in 2020 Runcorn SHS has entered teams in the Junior, Sophomore and Senior CBSQ tournaments.
