Runcorn High was established in 1986 and has a population of about 1350 students in Years 8 to 12 (aged 12 to 17), 90+ teaching staff, and 40+ support staff. We offer a vertically-organised curriculum, based on semester-length units of study, for all our students. This enables our students to work at the level of study that suits their ability and rate of learning. Our buildings are all single-level and are spread over the 13 hectares (32 acres) of grounds, with connecting covered walkways, four tennis courts, and two multi-purpose sports ovals, and an indoor sports centre with two halls with wooden sports floor.
