Runcorn High School has a part time School based nurse, Janine Jamieson, who is available at the school for personal health counselling.

Janine visits the school three days a week. She is available for individual appointments with students, offering confidential information and advice on Nutrition, Drug/Alcohol, Sexual Health, Preventative & Early Intervention of Cancer, Vision and Hearing Checks, Personal Health Concerns, and Immunisation.

She also takes bookings from teachers to instruct students in a classroom situation on the above topics.
