Enrolment Overview

Runcorn State High School has a proud tradition of very high attainment in academic pursuits, in Vocational Education and across a wide range of extra-curricular activities including Sport and The Arts. Our students consistently achieve levels of excellence across the curriculum and in the many extra-curricular activities in which they are involved. Almost all of our students complete Year 12, and the majority of these students continue on to university or other learning pathways.

Every new student enrolment at Runcorn State High School involves parents making an application for enrolment and attending an interview with their child and a member of the school Administration. While all the necessary information is available online, an enrolment package is available for postal delivery.

Our school provides opportunities for prospective students and their parents/guardians to visit our school and gain information regarding enrolment at our school. School tours are welcomed and appointments can be made by contacting the school office on (07) 3323 1609 or enquiries@runcornshs.eq.edu.au.

All enquiries are welcome and we look forward to seeing you.

On these evenings parents will be provided with information on a range of topics including school values, curriculum offerings, homework, uniforms and other general information. Any questions you may have will be answered. You can then make your appointment for the enrolment interviews:

Yr7 Orientation Day for New Students - Monday 20 November, 2017

Year 6  students who have approved enrolments will attend an orientation day in Term 4 2017. This gives each student the opportunity to experience a day at high school before they begin in 2018. Your child will be introduced to a range of subjects offered at our school and they will meet a variety of specialist teachers from across the curriculum. They will also begin to become familiar with the school layout. Students are to arrive at the Sports Hall and bring a water bottle, hat and food for the day. The canteen will also be available to purchase food.
