Runcorn State High School provides an array of Student Services to support students learning and social-emotional wellbeing.

Ms Tina McAndrew

The school Chaplaincy Service provides spiritual and emotional support to members of the school community. It’s in the prevention and rescue business: helping students find a better way to deal with issues ranging from family breakdown and loneliness to substance abuse, depression and self harm.

The Chaplaincy Service provides a listening ear and a caring presence for kids in crisis and those who just need a friend. It also provides support for staff and parents in the school community.

Ms Andrea Stricklen

The nurse is employed by Queensland Health and works in partnership with Education Queensland by working within high schools to provide health information and a referral service for all secondary school students.
